I was born in 1978 at Leipzig, Germany, where my grandfather introduced me to painting and craftwork. Growing up, I went on with exploring different materials and took classes in drawing at the Leipzig Academy of visual Arts.
Leaving the arts aside, I went to university to become a geographer and worked for about ten years in an agency for urban planning and landscape architecture.
Returning to Art School, I decided to realize a childhood dream and learn pottery.
Architectural ceramic is a way for me to combine the passion of these both professions: I work the clay to design interiors and outside spaces.
